Oy! Another New Year? This year certainly promises to be an interesting one; as always, marked by uncertain challenges, new directions and opportunities. Individually and collectively WE WILL persevere and rise to every occasion with optimism and grace. We must!
Please let 2017 be a happy healthy and prosperous year for all.
a few suggestions…
I propose we put our hands and hearts together and pray everyday.
Dedicate the coming year to being fully present and allow everything else to fall into place.
Get enough sleep but not too much.
Make all your decisions when you are well rested and have exercised your body and mind.
Drink plenty of water, eat simply and chew your food slowly.
Smile! Laugh often at yourself and with others.
And may you all proceed into 2017 with light-hearted humor!

“If there is no self, whose arthritis is this?
Be here now. Be someplace else later. Is that so complicated?
Drink tea and nourish life; with the first sip, joy; with the second sip, satisfaction; with the third sip, peace; with the fourth, a Danish.
Wherever you go, there you are. Your luggage is another story.
Accept misfortune as a blessing. Do not wish for perfect health, or a life without problems. What would you talk about?
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single Oy.
There is no escaping karma. In a previous life, you never called, you never wrote, you never visited. And whose fault was that?
Zen is not easy. It takes effort to attain nothingness. And then what do you have? Bupkis.
The Tao does not speak. The Tao does not blame. The Tao does not take sides. The Tao has no expectations. The Tao demands nothing of others. The Tao is not Jewish.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out. Forget this and attaining Enlightenment will be the least of your problems.
Let your mind be as a floating cloud. Let your stillness be as a wooded glen. And sit up straight. You’ll never meet the Buddha with such rounded shoulders.
Deep inside you are ten thousand flowers. Each flower blossoms ten thousand times. Each blossom has ten thousand petals. You might want to see a specialist.
Be aware of your body. Be aware of your perceptions. Keep in mind that not every physical sensation is a symptom of a terminal illness.”
Cheers and Blessings,
Always Love, Love, Love, and more Love,

The following manifesto reminds me that I am okay just the way I am; that everything I need already exists within me.
Print it and stick it on your bathroom mirror.
“My mind, body and spirit are strong. I take time each day to rejuvenate and recharge. I draw from a deep well of peace and calm. I breathe in strength and release my fears. I go after my hearts desires. I can accomplish anything. All of my dreams are coming true. I focus on my goal and have the strength to make it happen. I choose to be unstoppable. I am strong. I act in spite of my fears. I am bigger than my concerns and worries. I go for it with gusto! I can do anything I put my mind to. Each day I am getting stronger. I take great care of myself. The strength of others inspires me daily. I trust my intuition and live a courageous life!”
