A beautiful Saturday morning to all and especially to those who’ve endured at times, a difficult and long frigid winter. With warmer temperatures on the way, change and healing is coming. Let the much anticipated thaw begin…
Olga Tarabashkina (a devoted practitioner and teacher of Sivananda Yoga and Kundalini Yoga) suggests the mantra Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Se So Hung it is wonderful for healing and for helping us to accept and embrace change.
Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Se So Hung would heal me and take me deep. I realized that I started to learn to accept the challenges with ease, open heart and attitude of joy. I would just say like, “Yes, bring it on!” Joyfully I will take and face everything that has to come my way. Realizing that my life is the biggest gift that it reveals such a great potential for the healing of body, mind and spirit. Everything that happens is sent to me to help me become stronger and better. So I am thank for all the lessons and encounters.
- Translation: Ra – Sun Ma – Moon Daa – Earth Saa – Impersonal Infinity Saa Say – Totality of InfinitySo – Personal sense of merger and identityHung – The infinite, vibrating and real.
- This mantra taps into the energies of the sun, moon, earth, and the Infinite Spirit to bring deep healing. It can be chanted to heal the self or to send healing energy to anyone you wish.
Sit in easy pose, elbows in snug by the sides of the ribs, forearms against the upper arms, fingers together and pulled down and out so that the palms are parallel with and facing the ceiling. Close your eyes nine-tenths. To heal yourself imagine a glowing light around yourself as you meditate, or to heal someone else, imagine that same light around them.
This meditation should be practiced at first for 11 minutes and gradually can be increased to 31-62 minutes.
Feel the light and warmth of this day – enjoy!
